Hi All,

I'm not sure what this function, (what I imagine is a feature that someone thought might be convenience but I find is just annoyance) but perhaps some could name it.

 

When take off you lift the clutch pedal (with no touching of the accelerator) it automatically adds more accelerator for you. It tends to catch me out, making me add too much accelerator.

 

What is that called?

and is there a way to disable? (I have OBDeleven pro+sub if needed)

 

(other diesel cars I have not had this, so it is either a feature or an issue)

No idea beyond that it would bug the H*11 out of me too.

Hello Gman, I believe that's called 'anti stall' SWMBO's Fabia is the same on first start, and can be quite aggressive while engine is cold - it appears to tone down after 20-30 seconds.
