Mk II VRS brakes - Help needed

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

I’m changing the discs and pads on my 2010 Octavia VRS and I’ve gotten stuck!

I’m on the rear offside and for the life of me can’t get the calliper piston to wind back in.

The pads were extremely low so the piston is very far out. I can get a winding tool onto it but I can’t get any rotation at all.

It doesn’t seem to be seized as the handbrake actuator moves fine and pushes the piston out slightly as it should.

Has anyone run across this or got any ideas?

Many thanks
