2022 Karoq SEL. Saw s message on screen a few days ago saying Software Update. Clicked on menu and then system. Came up with software versions and on the bottom bag said update software. Clicked on that and came up a blank screen with just saying Update on the left and system on the right. 

 

As it shows nothing else do I assume after multiple attempts that it has updated?

 

The info under menu, updates states

Hardware H22

Software 0306

 Navigation database 23.6

Radio database 1.30.24

 

Are these all updated to latest?

 

 

I have tried with engine off, engine on, just ignition on, with me out of the car. It's not at all clear

 

 

Similar with me not clear at all. Cant see much difference - but there is a now a choice of 3 "clocks" when the infotainment system is off. Strange thing, every few days a message comes on to show updating in progress ( when the car is briefly stationary ) and this shows an update is about a third completed. I get to my destination, no sign of updating.

Im presuming it will sort itself out.

I had one of these on Wednesday too. The over-air updates are pretty minor, and can only be installed when the car is stationary with the ignition switched on. But in practice, whenever you stop at a junction of traffic light etc it will install a bit more by itself. Mine had installed after a few miles, but I haven't noticed any changes.

Ah, so ignition on but staionary, thanks. I can only assume mine must have updated. Very confusing that going to Menu/settings/system it shows the various system referenced but always states 'Updates' on the bottom bar that then goes to a blank screen with 'Update' in the top left hand side but clicking on that gived nothing. Shame it doesn't say Software up to date.
