Here is a first look at Škoda Scala FL 2024 Monte Carlo sport trim and a full review at a car show. Enjoy!

I love the Scala they made it more appealing but I think they need to work on those doors and some sound dampening in the cabin.

Otherwise great hatch! Finally with Matrix LED headlights and a powered tailgate! The slim headlights give it a more aggressive sporty look. 😎

In UK, the Scala Mote Carlo is £27,795 to £30,445 before options

(euro 32,493 to 35,590)

Not that there are many options in UK.  Just paint, a convenience package, a winter package and a factory warranty extension.   If want the red paint it is extra £1045

I am thinking of placing am order on a Scala but can't decide between the Monte Carlo and the SEL, going to wait until the skoda sale on the 9th and see what offers are on.

I chose the SEL over the Monte Carlo for around £2,000 less, because (based on the spec at the time) with the SEL I gained rear armrest, wireless smartlink, keyless entry and stop/start and climate control. For me it was spec and gadgets over image.

Skoda are being rather sneaky, have slipped out new brochure this week, with new prices and specs.

Looks like put price up, then claim offering sale discounts, all rather smacks of give with one hand, take with other.

Yes I did notice that!

I'm still not 100% sure I will get a scala, all the reviews of it being not much fun to drive put me off slightly.

I am coming from a MK3 Seat Leon 2.0TDI 2016 which I have had from new.

I just don't fancy a new Leon with news SEAT might no longer be anymore and the Cupra is to expensive for me.
