Skoda supurb 2014  RNS510 unit fitted 

3T0035686H .HW version  H21  . SW version 6270  Maps 8048 version 10 . Have a problem with start up screen skoda logo misaligned.  Believe its a SSD version . Looking to do a SW flash   with 6270 or 6276 but can't seem to find them anywhere  , have maps version 17 on a disc  but want to flash it first. Any help finding the required software would be appreciated  willing to pay for it . Thanks in advance  , Darren

I have problems with my radio also has a mind of its own! If you find a solution I'll be pleased to hear the results and could you point me in the same direction,

@Jaynet pls post picture of the label from upper case showing part number and original SW version.

Periodically the stereo goes through the booting up cycle and nithing happens then it works fine for a few weeks so not 100% sure whats wrong with it

I'm away from the car this weekend but will pop it out and get the numbers required

 

I got a dvd for mine like the link below and it corrected the logo issue and been perfect since. Just need to do the map files but that’s another story!

It depends on HW version. For C3 up to C10 best is 5238. For C12 it's 5274 and for C14 - 6276.

think mine is H10

There is a newer software available for your unit (5274) but unfortunately you will not get any features. If you want new features and more modern look I suggest to swap with MIB STD2 PQ unit.

After various problems with my Columbus system and being quoted extortionate prices for replacement, I found someone who repairs these for £120 (as at August '24} The company is Navitex in Liverpool - 07500 070050 - [email protected]. The turnaround was three days!. I believe I'm right in saying that they repair most VAG units. There is also a company in Surrey, just south of London, who will do most repairs while you wait

The guy who had his Columbus fixed by the Surrey company is away on holiday at the moment. I think he's back at the weekend so I will ask him then. I’ve got an RNS 510 with SW version 6270 and it’s acting up — when I turn it on, it just shows the “Škoda Navigation” logo, then restarts after a few minutes and never fully boots up.

Any idea what could be wrong?

I read that updating the firmware might fix it, but I can’t find the 6276 version anywhere. Anyone got a tip where to get it?
