nice :) Phil, you wouldnt happen to have pic's of the RS4 or RS5 would ya, be interested to see them :)

Seen quite a few vRS's round my way, but all are std 17" guess its cos it looks good :)

I'd like to complain that mine weren't an option.

hi i went for the 18" zeniths not sure youd notice much differance from the 17" unless you had the two near each other

at least having them stops me wanting to go bigger

Skoda 6.5x16 5-spokes. Not quite sure if they're standard or not; the size is, but I think the style was a dealer option on the Elegance.

what do they look like ken?

these are the standard elegance wheels

Well Bengie; your earlier reply's got the pattern mine's got.

looks like most people have the std 17" alloys, hmm, thats got me thinking......... i thought it would be a different result!! ie, more different styles?? :)

I think most people like to keep the car standard, as once something's changed it's no longer "original". I wanted to make mine look slightly different so it really stands out when you see it against a standard car. It's all about personal preference I think.

Standard 16 or 17 x 6.5s fill the arches widthwise. Bigger diameter wheels and lower profiles won't fill the height, so why spend out on them unless you actually need/want bigger discs than the std rims can accomodate? Not like a slam isn't better visually, and IMO any of the std or optional pattern alloys are pretty good looking and fairly well engineered wheels.

As I said, It's personal preference. There are plenty of vrs owners on here who have posted pictures of there cars with things they've done that changes the appearance, and people have commented positively and negatively with their "Personal" opinion. I love my car but thought that the black trim broke up the shape of the car too much, and the standard alloys were too small, so I changed those things to suit me.

My 18's

@ sabredylan : great car !!

I'm in the process of choosing between 18" and 19" for my skoda octavia.

Since your car seems to have the perfect suspension/wheel size combo I was wondering if you could answer a couple of my questions:

- How wide are your RS4 rims? are they 8"?

- How much are you lowered and do your rims rub against the arches?

Thx!!

Cheers
