Bluetooth Phone Issue

Featured Replies

Hi all, hoping someone has experienced the same issue and will be able to offer some advice.

I have a 2023 Karoq SE-L, I am not using Android Auto at all as I found it made my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) red hot and depleted the battery much faster than I was happy with. So I have it connected via bluetooth and it works as it should for audio streaming and phone calls apart from one issue. After every restart the first call I make or receive is completely unintelligible, more like a cross between a dalek and static. I hang up and redial and it works perfectly and continues to do so for the remainder of the journey. I have used this phone in my previous car without issue so I'm confident it's not a phone thing.

Any ideas?
