Got a weird one, when putting the car in reverse, the reversing light doesn't come on and neither do the reverse sensors (nothing on the display).

 

I can activate the snsors and they then work, but they don't come on automatically.

 

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Manual gearbox? If so, perhaps the reverse sensor or a wire going to it is broken?

 

I can manually select the sensors by pressing the button on the dash, but they don't come on automatically like they used to.

 

Perhaps a wire is broken to the reversing light, which in turn isn't activating the sensors?
