2.0 TDI 190CV engine upgrade to 1196 to 4774, does anyone know what it modifies?

I have called to make an appointment at the official service for the issue of the airbag, they have told me that there is an update to the engine and once I have connected the obd11 it has come out that there is a new version, the 4774.

 

Does anyone know what it modifies?  Or where can I look to find out?  I can't find anything on Google.  Will something happen if I don't update it?

 

There is also an update on the Columbus, that scares me less.
