Vehicle Data Label (or PR CODES sticker), where it is ?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for the specific sticker that has the equipment codes, etc.

I looked in the car but couldn't find it. In the past I had several cars from the VW group, I found this sticker in the trunk, usually near the spare wheel. Now I can't find it.

Where could it be?

VAG stopped fitting car stickers a few years ago.

You have to ask the dealer or go online to e.g. erWin.

There's an ebay seller that can supply all your build codes for about 3 Euros.

The white build code label that used to be stuck under the carpet in the spare wheel well area, didn't have all the build codes...perhaps around 40 build codes whereas the car might actually have around 180 build codes.

Thank you. Very useful link.

Probably,  I will buy it.

I purchased that decoder for my car, it's pretty comprehensive. Good value for 3euro.

I purchased that. It has a lot of information. 3 euros, a great price.

Thanks for the tip @Carlston

I've just bought through this seller: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/286236597304

Report was sent in under 5 mins from purchase, and it's exactly as described, 7 pages of PR codes for my VIN. Fiver well spent :-)

What exactly can be done with this code?

Each code details exactly which variant of component is used or fitted.

I also just used the Link provided by Duncan (highly orderly) and the response of the ebay seller was near instantaneous at 11pm and the PR codes came flying into my inbox as a 7 page PDF.

here is the link for this seller: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/286236597304

At £4.87 this is highly reasonable.

The dealer I bought the car from here in Edinburgh has not been 'able' or willing? to assist and provide me with the codes despite several attempts a their sales and customer support.

I got a good discount on the car when I bought it in February, since it is a 2023 model on a 74 plate (the model before the late 24 face lift) and the new 25 plates were just around the corner but the after sale is lacking severely.

It is one of the biggest multi brand car dealer franchise in Scotland.

£4.87 is almost twice the price of the other seller on ebay who can supply all the build codes.

3 Euros (about £2.53) for all the build codes (search "skoda vin decoder" on ebay to find the listing)
