I’m trying to help my mate fit cruise control to his Fabia, but we hit a roadblock when VCDS wants £100 for a licence to be able to code cruise control, anyone in Liverpool who has a VCDS licence that could help? He’s willing to pay like £5-10 for the trouble 

VCDS comes in three flavours. 3 VIN, 10 VIN & unlimited VIN. Each time you code something on a car it takes up one of the VINs (assuming you've not coded on the same car previously). To upgrade either the 3 or 10 VIN interface is $169 so good luck with your offer of a tenner.
