Potential owner, any known faults?

Featured Replies

Hi

Currently, in a 2022 i20N but not really a fan of it and looking for something a little bigger and sensible.

Had a 2015 VRS for 7 years so looking forward to potentially getting back in a Skoda as my Octy was  awesome.

I'm interested in the Scala Monte Carlo, as it's a 1.5 with a decent bit of punch should I need it.

Prior to my i20N I had a Cupra Leon mk4 which had infotainment gremlins, just like the MK4 VRS and MK8 golfs.

My question is, does the scala suffer from the same gremlins...SOS popping, front assist crashing and general woefulness?

Also, are there any other known issues which plague the Scala and Skoda haven't managed to iron out?

I'm looking at 2021+ models.

Thanks 😊

I am also looking at 2020 Scalas. I have seen some low mileage ones for under 13k, which is cheaper than a Focus or Astra. They seem to have had good reviews. I have always had Vauxhalls. Although id imagine the parts and servicing would cost more on a Skoda?
