Potentially taking the plunge (again)!

Hi guys. Im just looking for opinions. I had a Superb 2 combi a few years ago and it was excellent. I've more or less got my heart set on a Superb 3 combi but I'm not sure what to be looking out for having been 'out of the loop' for a while.

I really like the look of the Sportline but am open to options. For my budget (£16k or so) I'll most likely be looking at a 2016 - 2018 example. I definitely need diesel.

Are there anything I should be looking out for or avoiding, maybe in terms of Engine size, Gearbox options, trim levels, optional extras fitted. As far as I understand and remember, the 1.6 and 2.0 CR engines are fairly bulletproof, but I've never had any long term experience of a DSG box. My Superb 2 was a manual and was great.

Hopefully this isn't all too vague.
