Hiya

I have a 2009 Skoda Superb 2.0 DSG 170bhp Elegance 100k on clock.  My dad had the car from brand new and I brought it off him this year.  Hands down the best car ive ever owned.  It only has one issue Bluetooth.  When I got the car I changed the blue tooth unit under the drivers seat from 5N0035730A to 3C8035730B.  My iphone 12pro now connects and all calls come though great. My issue is playing music,  it only comes through one side of the car,  If i plug in to the Aux it works great,  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Completely normal, the old module used mono whereas the new one uses stereo.

You'll need to add some extra wires between the BT module and your headunit to carry the other channel of audio.

If you want to DIY harness, here are all the parts. You need 2 VW repair wires and just cut them in half, solder w/your own extension wire in the middle, and plug them into the existing connector. Connect pin 5 to pin 5 and pin 11 on the radio to pin 4 on the bluetooth.

12 pin connector (6×2 rows) – green- 3B7 035 447 B (3B7035447B) – telephone end

Repair Wire 0.5mm – 000 979 009 (000979009)
pin 5 – telephone audio input signal left negative
pin 11 – Telephone audio input signal left, positive

54 pin connector (18×3 rows) – blue- 4E0 972 144 (4E0972144)

Repair Wire 0.5mm – 000 979 010E (000979010E)
pin 4 - Audio LF Signal out +
pin 5 - Audio LF Signal Out –

Hiya

Thanks for such a quick answer, So even i purchased a newer blue tooth module 7P6035730J it would have the same issue?

Yes, because there is single pair audio cable going from BT to the radio - you have to add another 2 wires cable to have stereo streaming.
