how are you getting on with these?

the brakes in mines are ****, genuinely struggle to slow down at times with them. desperately need an upgrade but the price of the Brembos is a joke

They were not great when new in 2011 so hardly likely to be any better now even with different discs and pads. Fluid and Brake Pipes.

Maybe up grade the size of the discs and pads or use your DSG shifter to help retard the speed.

Is it worth the size upgrade though when it's not really getting hammered anywhere? It's mostly my mrs that's driving it to work and back, but I just feel the brakes that are on it now are the cheapest of the cheap for it to pass an MOT and be traded in.

so is the cost increase worth it over the ones sepulchrave posted?

you know what the roads around Ayrshire are like lol, can barely speed anywhere with the potholes

Love them, they're brilliant with the EBC pads, much more powerful.

fitted the discs and pads from the ebay shop. what a massive difference from the pieces of **** that was on it before.

replaced the front brakes and changed the springs to the Eibachs. feels like a completely different car now

I've just gone back to the original brake discs and pads for £100  two discs and two pads the stopping power not much different road traffic, the braided lines might be helping that, it's not great on OEM but does the job, they squeak a lot as my grooved ones were bent. The red stuff pads awesome but wouldn't fit with standard brake discs.
