Fitting manual lock to Passenger door?

Featured Replies

Is there a build thread for how to fit a manual lock from a LHD car to the passenger door of a RHD car?

Recently my battery has started to die, I've had to keep jump starting and trickle charging. I need to get the car looked at asap, I have contacted a local specialist to have it looked at, either battery is on it's way out or alternator, maybe something is somehow draining power?

I've run into the issue of the car being totally dead, having to manually open the drivers door, only to be faced with deadlocked passenger door... meaning the bonnet latch cannot be correctly pulled to release the bonnet. I did manage to slip the catch over the speaker and release the bonnet but I ideally in future don't want to do this and damage it.

So if there is a build showing how to retro fit manual lock on the passenger door that would be great!

Cheers
