Rear wiper not moving

Featured Replies

Rear wiper seems to have packed in and wont move

Ive seen some have had success by clearing the jets, no impact for me.

Is there any other bits that could cause it yo not work other than a failed wiper motor?

Could aftermarket LED bootlights somehow cause the problem (they have been installed for over a year so im suspecting not in this case?)

The washer supply runs through the motor and it's not unknown for this to cause the motor to fail - I had it happen on my previous car.

Given the jets a clear out and the washer water does move through without an issue. Just no movement in the arm.

Checked the relevant fuse? If that's OK then as said I suspect the water may have caused the motor to rust internally and fail.
