2.0 TDI CUNA break

Featured Replies

Hi ! The CUPA 2.0 TDI engine sometimes stops while driving, as if it ran out of fuel for a fraction of a second :/ I have already changed the pressure sensor and fuel regulator on the rail, but with no result :/ the VCDS injectors are also close to 0. What should I replace or try?
It stops most when I'm driving slowly and then I press the gas pedal all the way

Welcome.

That will be Stop / Start as you coast to a stop / halt off the accelerator.

Does it restart ok if you press the accelerator once stopped or while still moving?

start stop I know how it works. This happens when I slow down and suddenly press full gas when I start moving, then it's as if I ran out of fuel for a split second :/

Is it a DSG and in what gear is it in if it does shut off and when you start moving?

How many km on the car, and is this a recent thing, car new to you or always been the same?

It is a manual transmission. The car has 240,000 miles on it and this has been happening for 2,000 km and I have traveled 40,000 km in total. maybe it is a stuck turbine or EGR?
