I have just spent far too long under the car changing the DV, the old one was a 'C', new one is a 'G' revision, old piston, new is the diaphragm one.

I bought it from the good folks at Awesome GTI and was advised that the piston type was liable to leak with my engine and the G will hold boost better.

I will take her out later for a blast and see if it feels better at high revs, will report back if anyone is interested.

I got to the DV from under the car, the third bolt was a pain but patience, tea, and perseverance paid off.

Was nice to check the boost pipes whilst down there also.

I replaced mine with the GFB one with the stronger internals. No issues whatsoever,  would definitely recommend.

Hey mate.

Is that a blow off valve or standard DV?

I like a quiet car.

Does it drive as standard with it or any difference to the VW one?

Hi, standard DV, no noise from this one at all. You can read about them on the Go Faster Bits website. I think I had a slight leak before.

Was the one you took out the piston or diaphragm type?

Will see if they do a 2.0 tsi one, I always like a plan b!

My revision G one holds boost better than the old one, also think I had a leak.

I'm fairly sure from memory it's the GFBT9351, mines the 2.0tsi CCZA block which I believe is found in some TT's and Tourags. Weirdly they don't list one for the Superb but I think they're the same for almost any 2.0 tsi. I'll check the exact part number when I get back home (sleeping in the lorry for a few days).
