Changing MFD from KPH to MPH in Catterick area help? Will pay! :-)

Featured Replies

Anybody have the kit and nous to be able to open up my 65 plate Yeti 1.2 TSI MFD area coding to allow me to get an MPH MFD speed indicator?

Would happily travel and pay a reasonable fee for the time and trouble and expertise.

Fingers crossed!

Simon

I'm not familiar with the Yeti and its MFD but in my 2017 Octavia the setting to change to Miles or Kilometres is available in the general settings menu of my MFD. Isn't it the same for you?

No, sadly. Apparently (and bizarrely) the UK settings don't include this obvious and logical option on the Yeti, and so you need someone to "re-zone" the car to "rest of World" or "Australia" to unlock a line in the MFD settings menu that will allow you to choose kph or mph (according to other forums).

From this thread it looks like you'll need someone with VCDS or Carista:

Look for someone nearby and contact them direct to see if they can help you.
