I have just bought a Skoda Fabia 1.2 TSi SE 2015. 
I am really enjoying the car, but there’s one thing that bugs me.

 

When I have music on (using Bluetooth media) the centre console shows the music, which is great. But it also shows in the centre of the instrument cluster in a square box. 
If I don’t have the infotainment system on, the box on the instrument cluster tells me so. 
why is that?

 

if like the centre of the instrument cluster to show me digital speed, or current consumption or something useful, instead of just echoing the centre console.

 

ive read the instructions but damned if I can find out how to change it!

 

think I have the Bolero infotainment.

 

any ideas?

Do you have the MFSW. Multi Function Steering Wheel.

The instruction manual for the Bolero is separate/different from the car manual.

I do have it as a PDF.

Just long press the button located below wipers control. (The button that is used to accept and end calls)

You can select appropriate screen (you can selecet between drive data, bluetooth control, navigation etc.)

It took me 3 years to realize i can change cluster instruments screen this way:-)))

It was the button on the end of the stalk I needed to long press, and then select with the bottom button!

 

But it worked!
