It seems that every time I start up the car- it reverts to Full electric mode.

Is there anyway to change this so that hybrid mode is automatically selected instead of full electric ?

Someone might well be able to help.

 

IMHO they should start in EV mode when there is charge in the Battery and if no charge in the battery not be able to go anyplace as it is all part of the PHEV kidology and the WLTP figures and the Tax Break / BIK for business users. 

It just starts in electric so you're not causing pollution when you pull away. Also so that you're not sitting with the engine running when you start up.
