I have a 1.5 TSI 2021 estate Octavia.

I've heard the Bosch windshield wipers are great. Which length do I get from Amazon?

There is a discussion here…

Measure the length of yours on the car and order that size, I think they are different sizes for each side

I have yet to replace mine, but I foresee a problem . . .  With the mkII I switched the ignition and wipers ON and then switched the ignition OFF when the blades were vertical - this gave me access to the arm and blade in order to change the blade.  However with the mkIV the blades continue to self park, so just how do you position the arms so you can replace the blades?

After turning off the ignition flick the wiper stalk and they move to the service position. It also shows up on the infotainment screen when turning off the ignition and before opening the door.

- after you turn the engine off you need to HOLD DOWN the wipers stalk for a couple of seconds -> wipers will go to service position
- on the infotainment, in the Car Setup Menu there's a line saying "Wipers in service position" - tick/untick that when needed.
