**Sold** - Octavia vRS 18” Gemini wheels x4 + Winter Tyres

Featured Replies

Selling my winter set as my Octavia vRS Estate is up on its lease. Bought to visit family in the Swiss Alps, but COVID stopped many of our planned trips.

Condition is good but not perfect.

Specific size is 7.5Jx18H2.
They’re the 18” Gemini wheels that were standard spec on most of the Mk3. There’s a couple of scuffs, but light ones that could be simply repaired. One wheel has a little pebble dash marks - my own stupid fault… it toppled forward on its face while I was doing a season change.

Tyres are Avon WV7 Winter. 225/45 R18 92V. There’s not a mark on them, no curbing or damage to the sidewalls.

The grip has been amazing, so difficult to make them slip and very reassuring when it’s anything below 5 degrees.

I’ve rotated them for about 3-4 months for each of 3 seasons… something like 6-7,000 miles only in total and I’ve been disciplined to spread use between front and rear.

I’ve measured with a manual tread depth gauge, all are somewhere between 5.5 and 6mm, so given that the would have started with about 8mm, they’re perhaps only ⅓ through their life.

Price = £650

I’m based in Camberley, GU15, and work in Egham, TW20.
Happy to meet within a reasonable range, but would prefer buyer collection.

Note that the image of my car is with the summer wheels, which are the anthracite / grey versions of these silver/chrome finish that I have with the winter tyres.
