Infotainment system won’t start

Featured Replies

My girlfriend got a used skoda scala 2021 for about a year and a half ago. There was some electrical problem with the SOS function but thankfully it got fixed under warranty, which has since ended.

But now the infotainment screen won’t start, at all. No radio no nothing. We’ve hade some problem before with this before but those times we just turned the car on and off and it started working again. But now, the only thing that works is the sound for when backing up. I’ve tried to hold down the power button to do a restart acording to the owners manual (and the internet) but it refuses to start. I’ve tried driving around, turning the car on and off but nothing seems to fix it. Is there anything else we can try or is it just to go to the dealership and hope for it not to be super expensive?
