Hi All

The exhaust on my 2011 TFSi vRS has broken and needs to be replaced, but the OEM parts are -£1000 and on back order apparently.

I'd like to get something as little louder than OEM as possible and for the least money.

Options I've seen so far are Hornet mild steel at £250 or Milltek stainless at about £700. As I may not keep the car all that much longer I'm tempted by the lower cost of the Hornet but worried it might be too loud or drone badly.

I'm suspecting the resonated Milltek is likely to be quieter.

If anyone has experience of either of these systems and could give any comment, or any other suggestions it would be most welcome.

I've got the Milltek non-resonated system.  It sounds great, isn't too loud and it doesn't have an annoying drone.  The only time I really notice the sound is when I'm making serious progress down the motorway.
