Hello

 

The speed heater setting number 1 does nothing. But 2 3 4 all work so I'm thinking it's the heater resistor?

 

There any guides on here and location?

 

Where the cheapest place to get a resistor from?

 

It's been like this since I've owned the car 3 years ago. I might have ago fixing it depending how easy it is and how much the resistor are to.

2. No idea. Best guesses would be Fabia, Octavia and Favorit, Felicia Guides fora

Open the glove box and you'll need to access the panel on the right of it.

Just ignore his use of the wrong word ''sensor''. It's just a resistor.

Loads of resistors on ebay. I bought one from there that lasted the whole ten years I had the car and was still going when I sold it. One thing that does kill them is letting the cabin filter get too clogged up.
