Is a trick of the light? Does the estate just look like it's a bit tipee toes compared to the hatch and they're both actually the same? Really just noticed in the thread with the pics of the yellow hatch and police combi...

The dimensions for hatch vs estate on the Skoda site say 6mm height difference at the roof. Looks like more in those arches...

I guess that's possible. I remember being surprised at the wheelarch clearance on the estate I saw at my dealer, too - nothing like the wonderful arch fillage as pictured here:

Is there an official lower suspension option on the vRS I'm missing...?

Id put money on either the combi has police spec suspension as mentioned, or more likely it still has the transport chocks on the suspension. As would the one in your dealer I would think.

AFAIK the yellow thing hanging from the mirror means the chocks haven't been removed.

could that be because it has just been pushed into the dealership and nobody has sat in it? just like when you get new boots and it goes up on the springs when they unload?
