My new car

Featured Replies

Hey all I finally got around to taking some pictures of my new vRS this evening after giving it a thorough clean.

I must say after having issues with the sport I had for a week I was a bit nervous about another fabia but my god this car is good.

The acceleration is excellent and really livens the car up. I have also founjd the handling to be very good as well.

It is totally stock at the moment and will probably stay that way until the warrenty expires. (although I am tempted by one of the jabbasport rear ARB's. please tell me more about them :))

Anyway here are a few pics (excuse my useless attempt at photography)

Its a 2004 model in corrida red. I am unsure if its a facelift model although it does have one touch indicators.

Overall I am exceptionally pleased with the car and its so nice to see peoples faces when they get overtaken by a skoda.

On another quick note it does have a couple small issues -

> The drivers wing mirror appears to be loose, the car had a full service before we picked it up and it looks as though they havn't put it back on fully secure.

> The rear left hand side head restraint rattles. Does anyone else have this minor niggle?

Both of these are being sorted tommorow under warrenty.

I would also like to take this option to say how pleased I was at the service I received at loders Skoda in yeovil. The customer service was second to none and puts the next door VW garage (part of the same group) to shame.

If anyone happens to see me around somerset come and say hi! :)

Gonna bring it down to Weston Super Mare little meet tomorrow morning? ;)

Looks very clean.. love it

What time? Its booked in for a check up (for the rattles) in yeovil at 9 but I could possibly get there for a bit later

Would be nice to meet a few people on here

The biggest change the fabia has seen is the gear ratios, what rpm does it do at 70mph? If it's under 2k, then it has the early ratios, if it's over 2k rpm, then it has the later gear ratios...

Looks like you have a 'in change' model, old lights, new vrs badge (on back), and one touch indicators...

Around 10-10.30 at WSM seafront, top end of the carpark by the mini railway. You wanna make regular checks in the South West Skoda Meets section. ;) Hope to see you there.

a ha I will have a look on the dual carriage way tommorow.

Right I'm off to bed now.

Cheers for the positive comments guys :)

Bed??!! I've yet to set off on my 75 mile journey to Norwich!

Cleanest vRS i've ever seen!

Just the same as mine mate......hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying mine!

Mine must be an "in-change" model too..........coz it's exactly the same.

I've just fitted dark decals to the B-pillar. Original Skoda accessory.......I prefer the way it makes the windows more "as one". Got a goddamn air bubble or two in one side, but it's not easy to try and remove/re-stick them, so I never bothered.

To get rid of the air bubble(s) ***** the bubble with a sewing needle and rub to collapse the bubble in towards the hole.

Glad you like it!

My Fabby vRS is an ex demonstrator from Loders (Bought through Woodheads Blackpool).
