I have recently bought the Skoda Superb Estate IV (2020 plate), and in general I am very pleased indeed with it.

 

However, the infotainment module has slow response times, and the satnav quite often loses its position. The version number is 0156.

 

Following instructions posted on this forum, I have downloaded the 0306 update, and extracted the files onto a USB stick formatted with exFat.

 

I do a long hold on the Menu button in the car to get the Engineering menu, and then click the Update option with the USB stick in the USB slot, but nothing at all happens.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how get it to work.

You cannot update directly to 0306, your version is too low. That's also mentioned in the instructions.

OK - I see I have to do a triple update to 0278 first of all. 

 

I have tried to find the download for 0278 but cannot see it anywhere. Can someone provide a link to it pls.
