I have 2 new fog lights that I wish to install. I thought the removal of the blanking plate would be easy because in the handbook, under the section changing fog light bulbs, it shows the removal of the end of the grill nearest the foglight. Looking at my car, I saw that there was indeed a section that looked separate from the rest. However on closer inspection,  it is one complete section.  I presume I will have to remove all of it in one go. It seems firmly affixed and I didnt want to force it. Any help would be appreciated. I think the blanking plates for the fog lights just unclip, always easier said than done on plastics 6 years old.  I would try with a plastic tool and use of a good lubricant like GT85.   

 

Found this, I've not read the following guide and at the start it just has to remove the blanking plates but does have a photo to give you some idea of some of the clips. - FABIA NJ - FOG LIGHT RETROFIT GUIDE -
