Change Swing radio for Swing+

Featured Replies

Good morning from Spain and happy new year to all. First of all I apologize if my way of writing is not correct, but I will try. I'm finally back to being me. I had a Fabia 3 which I was able to equip in terms of audio, with GPS and Android Auto, thanks to the great help of my friend Pawel Brezinski, to whom I send a very affectionate greeting. Later I had a Fabia 4, which I am very proud to be able to say that I was able to equip with a reversing camera without having any place of reference, it was the first video on that subject, such a first that Skoda asked me to remove the video from explanation (I put a link at the end). Unfortunately and due to painful personal circumstances, I had to sell that car. I currently have a Fabia 2 with which I am very satisfied, but I am going to give it to my daughter because I have had a good opportunity to buy a Fabia 3, I am returning to my origins!!! And I am happy again to have that car again that they are going to deliver to me this week. And now here comes my request for help from this fantastic forum. My car comes equipped with Radio Swing (bluetooth), but I want to upgrade to Swing+, so this way I will have a slightly larger screen and Android Auto. I have searched for information and I am not very clear, so I respectfully turn to you so that you can help me as much as possible. I don't want to put drive in the glove box, just Swing+. I have seen several advertisements for this device, but I imagine that it will not be possible to arrive and connect, what do I have to do to connect? Am I looking for a special reference? I want android auto and reverse camera. Thanks in advance.

You can replace Swinfg with Swing+ but I'm afraid you will NOT be able to have SmartLink activated the official way and unfortunately I don;t know anyone who hacks these unit to get SmartLink enabled - so I'm afraid the only solution is the same as before: use Bolero or Amundsen.
