Greetings to you all . I came across the site by chance when researching alloy wheels .

Found it , liked it and thought that I might add my comments .

I read all the comments by Fabia owners and the 'would you buy another ' section and felt that there was more to be said .

Having owned a selection of small family hatchbacks in the past I felt I needed a small-ish , diesel-ish estate . I thought that a 1.9tdi ambiente would do , but none in my price range were available locally . ( local dealer is also VW/Audi & BMW so no bargains there then ! )

Phoned up about one , but it was gone and was offered a 1.4tdi to try instead .

I know it's not a Vrs but it is brilliant ! It is HILARIOUS , it's the most fun I've had for years . So far ( 7 months ) totally reliable ,comfy , handles well , quick enough once you are off the mark and I'm still getting my head round the fact that I can get 70 mph and mpg at the same time . It also seems that the average fuel economy is inversely proportional to how hard you drive it !

Will definitely buy another , the same would do or a 1.9 with a chip or maybe even a roomster .
