Hi all,

The HID bulbs on my 06 VRS estate are now developing pink eye and need to be replaced. I've had the car almost 10 years and not had to replace them, the bulbs have done well, but can anyone confirm that its a DS1 HID that I need?

I've looked online and most sites say its a DS1 I need, but when I've gone to buy the compatibility charts dont show the Octavia VRS variant at all (maybe because they were an option?). I've always thought HID bulb types are simply compatible across the board as long as you get the right type, i.e. Ds1, or Ds3 etc. Are there any other parameters I need to be aware of?

If anyone has any info on this that would be great.
