Skoda Online Service Booking Pricing

Hello all. Quick question, does anyone know if the service pricing on the Skoda Online Service booking page includes all parts required and VAT? Particularly thinking of the Oil & Inspection service.

I.e. fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter etc

As the price they are showing at my local dealer is quite a bit cheaper than I have paid at my local independent: £322.51 vs £398.76

Their price for the Haldex service is also cheaper.

Ultimately I would prefer to stay with my indie as I trust them more to do the job properly but wanted to check I was comparing like with like before I go to them and negotiate on the price.

How much is the On-Line Booking prices you see.    Ask the Service Desk so that you know.

 

An Oil & Inspection Service does not include parts other than the Oil & Filter / sump plug.  Neither does the Extended Scope part.  Maybe the top up fluids, if they were actually doing topping up....

Not the Pollen Filter, or an Air Filter, Or Spark Plugs or a Diesel Filter. Neither is a Brake Fluid Change included.

 

Is the Haldex Service at the main dealers being done correctly, remove / clean pump / screen.????

 

Example prices in bottom chart maybe out of date for 20024.

Thanks - so they don't change the filters as standard? Or they would do it as an 'upsell'?

Oil & Inspection "Service" only includes engine oil filter.

 

The rest depends on what service you sign up for, pollen filter, engine air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs - are done to schedule, no mention of "maintenance" in the online service plans that I saw or more important brake fluid change at 3(?) years.

 

But then the Dealerships seem to do their own versions of Skoda UK "servicing" and "maintenance" and IIRC used to offer their own servicing plans too all very confusing.  Might be worth asking at your local Skoda UK Dealership or perhaps a good independent (VW) garage if you have one or know of any, or one.
