Just bought an Octavia Scout mk2, 57 plate 2.0 d BMM, done 159,000 with virtually fsh, new clutch etc at 120,000 and recent belt etc.

 

Bought as I wanted a good workhorse, with a diesel engine I could work on if and when necessary, and preferably with 4x4, for not a lot of money.  This fitted the bill, so after pouring money into a 2011 Jaguar XJl for the past year (fabulous car, but expensive to own), I decided on something different.

We have one too, done a bit more (about 170k). Great car.
