Skoda Felicia with engine start button?

Featured Replies

Looks good in the begging but later not so.

I have thought about it many times but i hesitate.

Looks modern and convenient but must have a very good alarm first.

The cost here in GR varies from 12,00 € the most simple

till 52,00 € ,the most expensive has remote controls.

Is that button start faulty or some sort of system code of pushing the button to get the car to start or stop - even if it was fully functioning well, why bother with such stuff on an older car, it just seems to add complication and potential for faults to a system that works perfectly well already - but as always each to their own.

Push button start goes back to before I was born so not exactly novel either.

I find the systems on modern cars, particularly the latest cars are more of an interfering PITA to actually being able to, and need to, actually drive the car rather than be a semi-passive passenger behind the steering wheel.  Moan over, for now.  😁

In the 1:00 of the video something is not working properly.

Fancy but imagine to have to shut-down the engine immediately and start "click and click" and the engine won't turn off what's going to happen?

dont bother

Another video with slight different function.

Looks god huh?

The only positive thing about this is, that in the case of crash, you won't get the key wedged into knee.

the least of your problems if you crash with a felly would be the key into your knee

Isn't that convenient?

May cause some problems in the future?
