Siren noise on boost

Hi all, just noticed my 2012 VRS TDI is making a siren type noise when the turbo kicks in. Cars done 104,000 miles. Anyone else experience this and is it looking like a a replacement turbo? Thanks for any advice. 

could be anything from an exhaust leak to a waste gate.  can you be more specific or record the noise?
