Rear Aero Wiper Question

Featured Replies

Ive got one that looks like that... Dont know about part numbers, bcoz I didnt order it!

If I remember rightly my Fabia's rear wiper sweeps right to left. Looking at the picture that wiper blade will sweep left to rignt due to the design of the mounting point. I dont think that it would work on your fabia. I could be wrong though

That's exactly the same as the 9N Polo wiper (I think it might be a typo on the title) . The pic just shows it layed down to the left but it's actually installed to the right.

This is a 6N Polo:-

Thanks Jon  I missed the bidding on that one as i didn't want to risk it but by chance ended up reading another thread of yours..... Renault Scenic wipers :D someone mentioned vagparts.com where I managed to pickup the aforemention part for £19 delivered  and as a bonus, I have the part number for some aero blades for the front :D I think Iwill have to pay the renault dealer a visit on wednesday

Which Renault dealer did you end up going to.... was it in Newcastle? Ta

I've done this conversion with the rear Polo wiper from vagparts. The Polo arm is a bit looser on the spindle (Skoda one was really tight) but I just tigthen it down and it seems ok. I suspect it's a fairly generic part as my Dad's Golf has what appears to be an identical wiper arm.

Renault wipers easy to fit but mine were on backorder and took 3 days to arrive at the dealer (better than 5-10 days quoted). I think they cost

I ordered the rear wiper from Lookers M'bro (VW dealer) as I get discount on all parts.

Ordered the Renault wipers from Reg Vardy M'bro. I must admit I wasn't expecting a great service from them, as I've had bad experiences in the past, but the wipers turned up 2 days after ordering them.

I can confirm after driving 25 miles in the rain this morning with Renault Aero Wipers that they work faultlessly! Get 'em!

this is a little of the subject but is it true that you cant just replace the rear wiper blade you have to replace the whole arm and it is a dealer part only?

Excellent, hoping to get these order tomorrow or pick them up on Wednesday if any of the local dealers have them :)

VAG PARTS do the rear kit (blade and arm) for

Mine was free - no idea on which one it is, but it looks like the first one pictured in the ebay link. Just had to plug vag com in a "few" times tobe rewarded with the wiper. :D

Well, I have fitted both front and rear aero wipers  Like the rear one and the front... well.... they are the muts nuts :D

The guy at the Renault garage (Benfield Scotswood Newcastle) was really surprised, said he never knew they supplied these blades as a pair! The service from them was very good to, only took a couple of days to get them    he also said there was no shortgage of them and are easy enough to get a hold of ;) for
