Cigarette Boot Socket

Octavia 2017 VRS, is the Boot Socket live permanently, if on a delay, would this would make a perfect  choice for the rear Camera, Thank You

Both front and rear 12 volt sockets are permanently live.

Reverse camera should be connected to the reverse light.

Easiest way is get one with an iso harness, it will connect to the infotainment and power out from there. 

I connected mine to the dashcam hardwire which is on the rear wiper Fuse
