After various problems with my tyres and wheels this week (No women driver jokes please ) Im looking at getting some new wheels.

At the moment I need 4 new tyres and my wheels refurbing and it is probably going to cost the same as getting some more new wheels anyway. (Im also bored of the occy wheels)

Anyway Ive decided to go for Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in black.

Just wondered what everyones opinion was, especially on a red car......

I think they will suit the car and colour well,there was some pics posted recently of red fabias with black wheels and i thought they looked great:thumbup:

I'm not a huge fan to be honest.

They look a bit spindly for a chunky car like the fabia.

Black alloys just don't suit the car, especially a red car!!! :thumbdwn:

Would look better on a silver or yellow car.

They will work a treat. Black and red does go Imho

Btw, if you want to get rid of your Octy wheels and tyres, ill take them off you!

The black 'motorsport look' is very now!

Only one thing though, have you thought what a nightmare they will be to clean?

I had a similar Speedline wheel on my old 172 Cup and they drove me mad!

I think that black on red goes great!!!!!!!! and is very fashionable at the moment, but i do agree that the team dynamics pro race wheels don't the chunky styling of the fabia,. Personally i would recommend some Wolfrace - Asia Tec Yakuza alloys in either 17" or 18"

I think it would be OK - not nice to clean,but they're conveniently brake dust coloured. My 5 spokes are a doddle to clean.

Have you thought about OZ Racing Super Turismo's, totally the other end of the colour spectrum but I reckon they would look pretty on a red furby!.

I like them. I'm considering a set for my black furb when it turns up.

By the way, do you/have you worked at the old Thomas Cook building (Travelex/Churchill now)? I've seen a car very similar to yours there, and always liked it

Have a look for posts by Beadie, he has pro race 2's on a red Fabia, better suited to the car, but hey it's your car.

Well I have decided to go for these wheels. I bought them yesterday, so will be here within the week.

Would anybody be interested in buying 4 Occy wheels off me? But be aware these wheels will need refurbing if you want them spick and span. I can provide pictures......

I got them from Halfords, They are on offer at the moment. I got them for £629.00 (about £200 saving)

I got them for the 54 model onwards and saved £80.

hi... i just fitted black pro race wheels on my red furby they look ace had lots of good comments about them.i bought them over a year ago but only put them on thursday. i not took any photos yet so ill do that & show you how they look. fitted seat splitter & painted grill surround red. makes the car look sweet when all put together.

hmmm, i've seen the black on red look somewhere before!

Oh yeh i remember now.

good choice tho. TD wheels seem really good and black looks great on a red car.
