Sound System Upgrade Octavia 2010- From Bolero to...?

Hi Peeps , thank you for accepting me in the club.
I am new and happy owner of Octavia, recently bought a state 4x4 from 2010 which I love, however the sound system screen is faulty, doesn't have telephone connection and or navigation system. It is a Bolero .

What do you recommend for upgrade here that doesn't cost an arm and leg?

Also

What are your experiences with built in Bluetooth or Parrot system, which one is better? in my other vehicle the blue tooth built in it lags and break connection easily, am just worried this would be the same if I opt for that option

check out @FUBAR's thread about his android HU with bluetooth, gps etc. ebay job, and was very happy with it

TMC traffic events no longer being received...firmware update required?

Hello, I'm new to the forums and like most people, I'm here because I've come up against something that has me stumped! I have a 2018 Karoq, with a MIB2 Amundsen head unit. Currently using the latest official maps available on an original 16GB SD Card. At some point (not sure when but let's say over the past 2-3 months), the car has stopped receiving RDS-TMC traffic events. There is also a red diagonal line running through 'TMC', which suggests there is some problem with

Anyone else aware of a droning sound? On journey home from the dealership I was soon aware of a muted but constant droning. This was in marked contrast to the 'drone-free' 1.1 DSG Kamiq which I'd had for the previous three years. I've had the Karoq now for a few months and, with the exception of the droning, I'm pleased. At this point I have a confession: Karoq test drive was exclusively in-town streets. Previous car was 1.1 Kamiq SE DSG. The three years with it had been a superb experienc

We had the car serviced in March, but then in May (one year from the previous service) the reminder pops up on the dash when it's started. I've followed (I think) the procedure, as found on YouTube: to turn on with the 0.0 pressed, look at the "reset" message, and press ok. But then it says ding "Inspection required" or similar, and keeps coming back. I wonder what I'm doing wrong?

Lower tyre pressures to improve ride?

I'm very happy with my Mk.SEL except for the somewhat harsh ride. Previous VW's had a 'comfort' setting for tyre pressures so would it be sensible to reduce the presures on the 16" tyres by about 4psi from the normal settings of 37psi/ 40psi ? I'd be very grateful for comments.

I thought other Octavia owners might have had this problem, but couldn't find anything posted. So here's how I fixed it. The black plastic lowest portion of the rear bumper popped out from being connected to the body-coloured part immediately above, as a result of a light contact with a low barrier when parking. After levering up the tabs, so that they would engage with the slots in the coloured bit, no amount of pushing or thumping on the black bit would get them to re-engage, as the coloured
