My first post here and if I buy Kodiaq 2020 RS tdi 4x4, probably not last

I really love how 2020 RS looks and all those 240 horses it has, but engine is relatively new and cannot get some reliability figures. 

My daily commute is 22 km one way highway, which is just to get this biturbo diesel up to temperature, so I am afraid I could clog up DPF and have EGR and other environmental gadgets issues with this type of dauly drive. I also do not know how reliable is this 2.0 biturbo diesel with 240 HP, and am quite skeptical to buy it with 100k already on the clock.

 

Any suggestions or tips I would appreciate very much.

Mine warms up within 10km easily. No mechanical issues so far but I've only travelled around 62,000km in it.

I have done 370 000 km, no engine issues, only had changed flywheel twice. But that`s VAG consumable part.

Nice to hear high mileage is possible. You have 2.0 biturbo diesel, too?

On all diesels I wish I would have DPF regeneration indicator, so I would know when to keep driving for few more miles. Like to have more control of the vehicle, but unfortunatelly manufacturers tend to lower the thinking, just drive and don't ask questions, pay for service, when broken, buy new.

Buy cheap ELM 327 OBD dongle and install VAG DPF app to phone.
