Error: Drive System

Featured Replies

Had this alert pop up last week on the highway and straight into limp mode. Pulled over and turned it off, while waiting searched online and quite a lot of people had the same issue, and were told by dealer that it was a software fault. Anyway after about 20-30 minutes turned her on, reset the central control panel and went on my way. Absolutely nothing with the driveability was wrong, pushed her hard as I was now late, and did another 1000km over the next few days until the scenario repeated itself.

Took her in this morning and just been told that Skoda HQ have advised its a turbo fault, the car needs to stay there until its replaced and it will take about 15 days for the part to come in.

On the one hand great its under warranty and will be fixed, on the other really confusing as the car, other than the 2 limp mode moments, showed absolutely nothing wrong with performance etc.

Cars less than a year old, really very annoying.

At least its under warranty and under no cost to you. Still not good for a 2023 car though.

Silver lining for sure, but not good at all for 23. Still baffled as to how the local techs didn't say it was a turbo replacement kinda issue, while Skoda HQ did.
