I wouldn't risk making life more complicated before taking the simple steps to make it cleaner

You're right there. Back for retest this afternoon, probably more Wynns in the tank than diesel, plus ive been doing the 16 mile round trip to work just off the red line in 2nd gear for the past two days, and boy will it be HOT when it gets to the mot place. I'll let you know how we go..🤞👌

Thanks everyone for your input on this, I'll update after retest late this afternoon. All else fails I'll take it to a garage that still has the old system and get a full test re-done at default value of 3.0. This whole scenario was created by a garage thet runs the new system where all they do is type in the reg and all the parameters such as emissions are automatically applied. Garages that do not have this new system have to go on the plate value, or lack of them if illegible or not displayed. Worth researching folks if you're a working man that relies on a vehicle to earn a living, but modern low emissions vehicles are out of budget. Big Brother is trying to watch you!🙄👌
