Folding mirrors on O2FL?

Featured Replies

I always found it weird that no matter how hard I push, the mirrors on my Octavia 2 Facelift are unable to fold even though the plastic seems to have the creases necessary to allow a fold. I've seen other cars of the same models with the mirrors folded, some even fully electric, so I'm wondering if this is just something that my Octavia didn't come with or did the previous owner do something cheeky with them?

They can be very stiff as the join fills with crud and the aluminium corrodes

Yeah so... I broke it...

Any ideas how to swap them to electric powered? Aka they close when you lock the car

If you're looking for powerfold mirrors you will need, pair of mirrors, the door modules for both doors and the switch. It's simply a case of swapping them over for the powerfold parts. Should be plug n play. I've done this on my prefl vrs and a friends fl vrs.
