Karoq sun roof - blind positioning

Featured Replies

On our old Skoda Yeti's, we could open the sun roof fully, but close the blind, therefore allowing the cabin to stay cool.

On the Karow, the blind will only close to the position of the sunroof, ie, if the sunroof is 1/2 open, the blind will only move to the 1/2 position.

Is this normal on everyone else's Karoqs?

Seems to be the case. We’ve opened the roof over the last few days for the first time and I’d hoped that the blind could be closed but it seems sadly not. Our old Freelander had manual blinds so could be closed with the roof fully open

I think you can tilt the sunroof up with the blind nearly closed. And I'd suggest the reasoning is that if the sunroof is wide open with the blind closed it could be damaged if you were driving at speed?
