B Pillar plastic covers - how to keep them looking good

Featured Replies

After nearly 10years, I’ve yet to find a method/product that gives more than 3weeks of them looking good let alone great.

After each wash/clean, it’s polish / wax and they look great, but within a week you can see they start to dull/tarnish.

What is the best way to get a longer finish ?

Hmmm, seems to think after a wash and a wipe down with some detailing spray, mine are always ok.

Will have to have a look later when I go out.

I never notice them dull or tarnished.

Maybe they need a harsher polish.

machine polish then ceramic coating

Mine don’t look dull or tarnished, but do have swirl marks.  I use either Autoglym SRP or Poorboys Black Hole, both of which contain fillers, to hide them.  It is only temporary but it only takes a few seconds to apply, so I do it each wash.  Machine polish as said above seems a more permanent solution.
