Is it possible to get the headlight casing apart to wrap/tint the DRLs? (2021 IV)

 

Has anyone achieved this already?

No they're sealed units, it's also illegal to tint headlights/DRLs to reduce the brightness >50%, and to display any colour other than yellow or white. You could expect a £200 fine & 6pts.

Thanks for the info re them being sealed units - thought that'd be the case.

I was considering a very subtle yellow tint, not dark and certainly not 'tinted' as such, I meant a colour tint. Hope that makes sense.

 

Don't forget that part of the headlight unit also forms the indicators, so tinting it would also affect them too.
