Rear seats

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Does anyone know if the rear seats fold up towards the passenger and driver seats. If so can you explain how to to do this. It's a 2015 model.

Thanks in advance.

"typically", you just lift the front edge of the rear seat bases, and I seem to remember, pull it forwards slightly, then grab the rear of the base and fold it forward - that is the way it is done in a 2015 VW Polo anyway.

Seat bases can easily get removed if that improves the space for carrying stuff - doing that doesn't allow the the seat back to drop any lower at the pivot though - obviously.

@Ghostrider81 I couldn't have written @rum4mo prose above, but that was exactly how the folding rear seat on several cars I've owned (including Skodas) worked. The biggest question is whether you have a solid or split fold rear seat, and we'd need to know your trim level to answer that.

@Ghostrider81 hi, welcome.

This and lots more useful information will be in your Owner's Manual, read it for this and to learn lots more about your car and to help save you time, hassle and money including possibly unnecessary garage visits.  If you don't have the printed paper copy then you can get a free VWSkoda pdf copy to download from this VWSkoda site. - https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Models
